Energy Triple Threat
Sun/Wind/Tide

-Sun-
It’s getting more and more Easier and Cheaper to setup solar panels. You could easily set it up to run your entire household, but you just need to know how.
The first cell panels were made and used in 1954.
Solar energy is very reliable. Enough that they are used on space-ships to provide a light-weight power source.
The Easiest way for a home-owner to tap into this Resource is to have a bank of Car batteries (One idea is to get the batteries from your local car salvage yard) and convert the voltage to either 110V or 240V. When you use the batteries they slowly drain. That’s when the solar panel charges the batteries.
And yes it is that easy!!!!
…More on this topic at a later date

-Wind-
Wind power has been used nearly 1300 years ago in Persia (Today’s middle-east)
Back then the windmills drove a wheel which turned Two Millstones.
Modern Windmill Spin at high speed and are used to create electricity.
Wind Power Production is extremely clear-cut. How they produce electricity is by taking advantage of ‘Magnetic fields’ and its reaction which A ‘Special type’ of copper wire.

An Easy way to use this power is to do the same as the solar power (with the bank of batteries) But using the Wind Generator to recharge to batteries.

-Tide-
They have been taking advantage of tides for more than 1000 years.
With ‘Water Mills’ when incoming tides are trapped behind a dam across a bay or estuary, then the water is allowed to flow out though the water wheel as the tides resides.

Modern Turbines have been designed to work with both directions of flow to generate electricity. Despite the potential there is only one tidal Power Station, on the river channels in Brittany, France. This was built in 1968. They have 24 water turbines. They produce enough power for 90,000 people.
With new stations in the foreseeable future, Tidal power is unlikely to be a major contributor to the energy supplies of the world. At least for now.

There is no easy way for a household to tap into there own tide power.
It’s mostly for the High-end Energy giants.

Here is a Wind Turbine made from scrap metal. i took me a day to build, and upload to instructables ...

If you dont know what PLA is ill give you a quick run down..

PLA stands for Polylactide, PLA is made from lactic acid,  Lactic acid is made from dextrose by fermentation,  Dextrose is made from cornstarch and cornstarch is made from carbon dioxide and water,  PLA can be formed into several different products.

Products include cups, cutlery, food containers, trash bags and more.

Because of the plant based product PLA is fully compostable and biodegradable. It takes around 30-40 days for PLA to break down.

PLA is now becoming competitively priced with PET plastic.

These plastic in the form of cups are good for only warm and cold foods and liquids Because the normal heat tolerance of PLA is 110 degrees (F).

PLA is Good for the Environment. because it supplements the need for Oil based plastics.
